Mac users have to wade through the inexplicable proliferation of dozens of locked "Noto [name]" fonts in their font menus, which started a few OS's ago. Here's a quick way to hide them in #Adobe apps (faster than tediously Favoriting all others): www.linkedin.com/learning/ind...

Type-o-philes, can you point me to a foundry's typeface where embedding in a PDF is not allowed (print and preview permissions are disabled), meaning that the only way you can use the face in a print project is to outline it first, assuming the EULA allows outlining? I used to know one but forgot.

#InDesign has over ***1,500*** commands available to "normal users" (many more to scripters). It's up to you to discover them all. Here are a few of my favorite hidden commands in InDesign, check it out (video is unpaywalled for now): www.linkedin.com/learning/ind... #design #layout #designgeek

*** ADOBE INDESIGN GEEK ALERT *** Designers, you may know about auto-fitting for text frames so they grow in size to accommodate text, but did you know there's a built-in way to do the opposite? Keep the frame size, but automatically resize the content! Watch my vid: www.linkedin.com/learning/ind...

My very first Adobe InDesign project (a short RPG adventure for Savage Worlds) is in the can! Like most apps nowadays, there are countless tutorials online for almost every feature and that made things SO easy! Looking forward to the next thing! (And no, I can't show you a screenshot just yet.)

I need to switch email apps for MacOS from Postbox to __? Which email program do my friends use? My must-haves: 1) ability to receive/send email on from diff accounts inc. gmail, on my schedule, and 2) robust custom filtering, actions, and finding. All else is gravy. Is Apple Mail the best solution?
