The operators was rad as always. I had a Moment with a sweet kitty, then dropped in on the songbirds. It was bath time. I definitely fall in love a lot there.

I love Sukkot. After decorating, a couple members and I were left over and they suggested we take out the lulav and etrog and say the bracha, which is actually very simple. So I got to shake the lulav! It makes a satisfying sound.

My sister flew home today after a short visit, which I’m consoling myself over by cleaning the whole house (she was not messy, the cleaning is just therapeutic). I took about five blankets off my bed, which is now fit for summer sleeping. Gives me a chance to show off a quilt made by my mom:

Wow there are a lot more stars out that way than in the city! The second half of the Chopin picked up for me and a fun time was had.

There was a short Bach performance at the start, now an evening of Chopin, currently in intermission. It’s very beautiful but I’m not sure I’m appreciating it well enough somehow. Oh well lots more ahead. Here are a couple of views. We’re at an abbey on a hill overlooking farmland and Mt. Hood.
