I have a lot of Pansexual/romantic characters in Talitha Harbor. Probably more than any other identity, including straight.

Marga gets to represent since she got the pan pride flag. She has non-binary partner who likes playing with all the genders. Mist wasn't her first partner.

Right before this Mist flirted a little, called Marga strong, and Marga offered to show them how strong she really was.

(*Their arms went tighter around Marga's neck... In the second paragraph. Ooops)
Text reads: The instant the glass touched the top of the table, Mist felt an arm slide around the back of their shoulders. Another slid under their knees. Before they could respond, they were in the air. A noise that almost sounded like an, “O,” but was mostly a surprised garble, came out as they put their arms quickly around Marga’s neck. They looked at her, eyes wide, which gifted them with more laughter. A happy little spark bounded from the back of Mist’s neck and down their spine as they fully registered Marga’s strength and the fact that she was holding them. With the thrill of being held still running through them, Mist felt elated when Marga pulled them in for a kiss. They slipped their arms around Marga’s neck and all thought left them. They only cared about her soft lips, and the bright warm fuzziness that ran through them. When Marga’s mouth left theirs, they inhaled, trying to regain their thoughts, and said impulsively, “I can still beat you.” “Challenge accepted.”

The 13 Vocations are each represented by a leaf in the emblem below. Together they create the backbone for life in TH. They provide all of the basic services as equals. Each Vocation's emblem keeps their leaf at the same angle. I plan on making the black circle rainbow at some point.

Red is Health Services. A bold color to mark their ambulances and first aid buildings. They cover all things medical, physical and mental. They also perform all autopsies.

Pemphero will be a POV of book 4 and is non-binary (they/them and sometimes he).

Missed a few days. I haven't made a Talithan cock-owning character who's straight, which I didn't realize until now. Most are some degree of bi/Pan. Therin and Pemphero only like other cock-holders. Idaeus has a strong preference towards them.

As Rade negotiated the trade value of stolen ore, the child laid on their belly and told the beetle, who was almost as large as their hand, a story. It was about a fish who ate a stone and sank to the bottom of the ocean. As Wisp spoke, the little creature in their hand started to still. After it stopped moving for the length of three storytelling sentences, they worried. What if they had killed it? They moved one of their hands the tiniest amount. It was still sitting, unmoving. They slowly started to spread their fingers. One by one. Gray transparent wings shot out from beneath the yellow and brown carapace. Then it was in the air, flying towards the edge of the building.

Enjoy my unfinished map of the Talithan's archipelago. The four Giant Islands. I might have to tweak the sizes of them, but it's a rough idea.

Anunitum is the lower of the two "twin" islands on the far right. The Great City sits at the base of the mountain range.

Appearance, Vincent had no physical body, but he has a favorite that he makes while roaming Earth. Here's an excerpt from a short story that I will eventually publish. 🧵
to keep the change. Vincent momentarily envied her. Though he loved dressing up, today’s chores demanded he remain inconspicuous. At least as well as he could. The earthly form he always chose stood a few inches above six feet. A strikingly pretty man, unusually pale and willowy with long silvery hair. A mix of masculine and feminine. Normally a deep purple with a touch of the night sky, he’d shifted his eyes to a more natural blue. A low ponytail at the base of his neck made his hair a little less noticeable. While some may still find him eye-catching, his appearance was a dim reflection of the flamboyancy he preferred.

Day #7 - First kiss.

So, the two below skipped days again. Since they why from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds (ha), I am going to let Mist and Marga have some prompts.

The first novel of my series is about these two and I love them. Marga and Mist are even in my planner as stickers. 💜

So, Therin and Jehan go from a painfully slow burn to, well, not so slow. ha.

I might change this when I get to this part. But this is a rough idea. Therin had a rough day, and they had a discussion about their age gap (12 sols/years, Therin is younger).

“I really don’t care about that,” Therin insisted. Tentatively, he reached for Jehan’s jaw, resting his thumb along his cheekbone. The combination of soft skin and a rough beard excited him. After a beat, Jehan leaned into his touch. Then his hand was around the back of Therin’s head. No longer wanting to hold back, Therin leaned in and kissed him. It was soft at first, testing. The electricity of it coursed through him, and Therin hungrily deepened the kiss. Jehan matched his intensity and, after a heady moment, Therin pulled back, breathing hard.

My poor confused Therin, who's also one of my favorite characters in the Talitha Harbor series. A friend dubbed him an angsty himbo.

Therin saw Idaeus first, his white hair lit by sun filtering through the trees. Daniyyel was nearby, and both were watching something near the ground. He followed their gaze and halted, his heart jolting with shock. Someone crouched on the ground, bent over and doing something. A person with long red hair tied into a ponytail at the base of their neck. For a second, Therin saw Lucis, though he knew it was impossible. The physique was similar, not exact, but enough that his heart was pounding. He felt, he didn’t know, some mix of grief and shock. But nothing as intense as what he went through at the hospital three sols ago. The person stood, and all illusion of Lucis faded. They were too tall. Therin’s eyes went to their armbands, green with three yellow chevrons. A Tier-III Researcher. The redhead turned towards him, and deep blue eyes locked onto his, catching his breath. “Jehan, he/him.” Therin took in the neatly trimmed short red beard that lined Jehan’s neatly chiseled chin. Freckles dotted along his light skin and fell down his neck into the hem of his shirt. With an exhale, Therin breathed out as a smile brightened Jehan’s face even more. “Uh, Therin, he/him,” he said, swore internally, then added, “I’m glad to finally meet you.” He was glad and confused, and felt his ears heat in unexpected embarrassment. He really hoped it didn’t show.  Jehan leaned over to brush off his pants, breaking their eye contact, and Therin made himself breathe.
