Fatal Frame does have this fanservice vibe, one of the reasons it was lower on my list.
Yeah, SH is more tense than scary, but tbh when I hear the heavy steps of those stalker guys in f hastily approaching me I'm about to have a heart attack myself ahaha

Have a full illustration for SH1 in mind, once I replay it for good+ ending, probably some more 3 and f stuff.

I'll give it a couple of honest goes, but after playing for a bit - it's on a completely different wavelength and requires a capital C commitment, so idk if I finish it (or get anywhere at all) and just end up watching a letsplay/synopsis before trying other ones (I head they're more digestible)

Funnily enough I had to install PS2 emulator thanks to shitty Windows updates, one of which managed to break fmv player for SH3 and 4 on pc. SH3 somehow recovered, but I couldn't make 4 work so I went for PS2 version.
Couldn't be happier tho, playing with an CRT filter does something to a man ahaha

Have Siren and Kuon locked and loaded. Never was a fan, but will also at least give a try to Fatal Frame.
And then there's so many new horror games.
Outside of some friendslop that's all I've been playing last couple of months :D
