Tonight's family and friends boardgame is... Heat (pedal to the metal). This looks like a vintage motor racing game but plays like a modern hand management game.
Such good fun nursing one's car around the track.

Another super #boardgame of Streets, a tile laying game by @sinisterfish.bsky.social. Tonight's battle included the consultants expansion where we each took on a role to hone our strategy.
I didn't think this game could get better but this expansion certainly did.
And the winner... Andrea by $1!

If you thought #Splendor was good, just wait until you Splendor duel, the 2 player version.
With sharpened mechanics and improved victory conditions, this version maximises the cutthroat nature hinted at in the original.
My only gripe is that the artwork is too cartoonesque.
