It seems the answer to the shutdown now is a new negotiated CR through the House. With both sides involved. Once the House approves, the Senate does. And this is over.
But it can't happen when the House isn't in session.

I saw a post elsewhere from a colleague who was critical of the tariffs. He voted for Trump, but said, "The tariffs will be his undoing."
I appreciate his ability to change his mind. But I don't get people who watch as others are taken and freedoms are eroded. But lose a dollar and they're pissed.

This shutdown will show how committed Dems are to protecting Americans. They MUST hold their ground. Looking at official government sites is sickening. The partisan blame the GOP uses is totally unethical. And won't stop unless it's stopped. Dems need to show strong resolve now or disappear forever.
