Been craving this, so finally made it, my attempt at a shakshouka. Not bad, over cooked the eggs, but made a massive batch of the sauce to freeze so I can practise the egg timing. The Turkish restaurant we have this in adds aubergine so I did too. Eat straight from the pan 😋.

Let them know before using Tell It Once if you shared the car to keep it up to 2 wks or get a hire car

Our registrar completed our Tell It Once & almost lost our car a day before the funeral. Advise them you use it so tax is not cancelled

Mum's been in hospital for 10 days now & I've not eaten or eaten junk food. Today decided cook the Christmas delivery I forgot to cancel, it's just me mind you & I forgot to cook the broccoli

The chicken is peri peri, made the gravy spicy, yum, going for a snooze now 😂 & still have mince pies to go

Mum not well again, another UTI, did i mention that i hate catheters🤬🤬

She's not well, but being very vocal today, compared to the last few days of quiet & sleeping more. Grateful for her brightness this morning.

Morning all, the sun is shining finally after all that rain!

Breakfast treat today of croissants & lovely cup of Redbush tea in my travel mug as every caregiver knows you never get to finish still hot when your loved one with dementia needs you, so travel mug works for me!

Difficult morning today, mum won't open her eyes, refused brekkie & meds. Gave up left her to sleep. Roused her & moved her to the recliner

Different person, brought an easy to eat dhal lunch for her dysphagia, demolished the lot even the greens she hates & promptly fell back to sleep 🤷

When you're decluttering your mum's stuff & find she trained as a seamstress, one of her first pieces is still intact, never used peg bag + competence assessment sheet dating back to 1990

She made all our clothes, curtains &, more when we were younger 💜💜💜 #stuffoflife #dementia

Omg, it's now SNOWING in South Wales, love it, but what the hell 💜🌨️

My messy lunch, mum had the same no green veg, was planning a plain chicken & rice for her tummy, but couldn't do it, jazzed up the chicken with honey, garlic, soy, ginger marinade!

How did I not the joys of crispy chicken skin before now?!?
