for context this is what i'm used to, where there's an obvious midi editor, fx, and instrument button in the bottom left, and if you want to add a track you just click a plus at the top, so the jump from this simple intuitive UI to whatever the fuck FL studios UI is doing is just unfeasible to me

like where the fuck is the button where i place notes down with a digital keyboard i don't even understand the basic functions 😭 this isn't musical skill i'm missing it's fucking software engineering or something i don't understand any of this.
