Weight is the greatest factor in determining road wear, you can't just look at the static load because vehicles move! Heavier vehicles cause higher dynamic loads when accelerating, decelerating and turning. It's also why road wear increases when speed increases: www.researchgate.net/profile/Mats...

Would love to see this in more places. Big pain point for me when cycling is trying to figure out the best route beforehand on openstreetmap, so I can spend most of the travel on trails or separated cycle lanes, instead sharing the road with cars
