All in all, Legends ZA has plenty of things wrong with it. I do not believe that it should be $70 game, but neither should many games nowadays given how large that price point is.

But it is miles better than Scarlet/Violet were to me and has given me immense hope in the franchise moving forward. 🩵

Almost all of the characters are incredible too! I absolutely love AZ and how it delves more into his background from X and Y.

Your rival genuinely felt like they had more of a purpose than in games past, and Corbeau, Ivor, Canari, and Jacinthe are some of my favorites in Pokemon history.

The positives though are that the new mega evolutions are absolutely stunning, silly, and fun. The new battle system while spam heavy, feels the most immersive it ever has in the series and feels the most like the anime ever.

There are massive flaws though with the Day/Night cycle, as numerous times I was battling an Alpha pokemon, and just as I was on the verge of fainting it, the time of day changed and thus reset the entire fight, making me opt to just abandon that catch attempt. By far the most frustrating thing.

Not being able to enter shops and cafe’s is a huge bummer and just continues the current flaw within recent Pokemon games of not giving depth to any surroundings. Something that the old 2D pixel art generations actually did.

The game looks amazing in my opinion on the surface, yet we still seem to be going with the approach of PNG images slapped on buildings with no accessibility to said buildings.

It feels less fluid and more difficult to trigger and just stalls out so quick mid air, this in turn made things so frustrating to navigate, because sometimes I would get stuck on a small sliver of a roof that was within reach, fall to the ground, and have to start from scratch again.

Agreed, what makes this and Twitch as a whole look worse though is the fact that this has happened time and time again ever since TwitchCon started.

Almost a decade of not improving security and allowing tragedy, harassment, assault, etc. to happen.
