I agree that'd be a good way to verify identity.
But I'm just saying if you change your bluesky handle to your domain (eg @myrtlemysic.com), that publishes your content, there's no mistaking that the owner of that domain owns that account.

Wouldn't it be better to update usernames to your personal site?
