I mean, of course there’s another Signal chat
Another Signal group exists for senior Pentagon officials and Jennifer Hegseth, this one with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Sean Parnell, Tami Radabaugh, possibly others. It's to discuss Defense Department comms, though Jennifer Hegseth is not on staff.

Jennifer Hegseth holds unorthodox role shaping Pentagon affairs
Her activities have included coordinating her husband’s media appearances and meeting with job candidates, say people familiar with the arrangement.

He's not on Bluesky so I'm amplifying his message here. The medical neglect towards menopause is very real.

Menopause puts in motion enormous physical and mental health changes, many of which are associated with huge health risks & everybody thinks you should be celebrating cuz no more periods. 😑

It was a world historical fumble that changed the trajectory of America in a way we won't recover from in my lifetime.
Every now and then I just pause and think that … we could have just elected Kamala Harris, and we’d still have an economy that was the strongest in the world; we’d still have an American-led trans-Atlantic order; we’d be assured that our universities would remain the envy of the world; … (1/x)

This public health nightmare continues. “Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. advised parents of newborns to “do your own research” before vaccinating their infants during a televised interview in which he also suggested the measles shot was unsafe and repeatedly made false statements”
Kennedy Advises New Parents to ‘Do Your Own Research’ on Vaccines
In an interview with Dr. Phil, the health secretary offered false information about vaccine oversight and revealed a lack of basic understanding of new drug approvals.

I knew he would do this. I wrote a whole article about how he would do this. I am not surprised he’s undermining vaccination. I know he’s an anti-vaxxer & a predatory crank.

And yet…you have got to be fucking kidding me. He’s promoting infant mortality.

The alternative to naloxone (Narcan) for a fentanyl overdose outside a healthcare facility - where almost all of them in this country occur - is death. Dead people don’t recover. Fentanyl overdose is the leading cause of death for Americans 18-44. Every single fentanyl overdose death is preventable.
There are few things as cost effective as Narcan, especially in a country where (entirely preventable) opioid overdoses have been a leading cause of death for years. For every 6 kits distributed 1 OD is prevented. The $56M in this grant trained >66K people and distributed >282,500 kits in 2024 alone
RFK Jr. to End 'Godsend' Narcan Program That Helped Reduce Overdose Deaths Despite His Past Heroin Addiction
Despite overcoming heroin addiction himself, RFK Jr. is backing plans to cut a critical Narcan program that helped reduce overdose deaths.

Give this a listen. Trump and Rubio are locking up people for engaging in speech, without any tangible evidence of wrongdoing or even hateful speech. So it's good to hear from the people they are demonizing.

Cool, cool. From the best economy in the world to a self-inflicted recession in 4 months.

Gotta be some kind of record.

#EdMartinIsALiar. Shocking , I know
Ed Martin, Donald Trump’s pick for U.S. Attorney in DC, told us *under oath* that he hadn’t seen photos of a pardoned insurrectionist posing as Hitler before giving him an award.

But Martin talked about it on his podcast weeks before… and called it “goofing around.”

On his 100th day in office in 2017 Trump headed to a PA wheelbarrow factory to launch his trade policy and put the US on the path to today’s tariffs.

Eight years on that factory is closed. The wheelbarrows are now made in China.
