I showed up for my liberal undergrad as a hot-tempered 18 year-old evangelical. Failed an essay exam in religious studies and indignantly demanded answers from my prof. He explained that the test covered whether I understood the readings, while I had written how I felt about them. End of conflict.

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

The vibe shift today is, I think, due to the fact that New Yorkers were on the offensive instead of the defensive.

Usually with protests, demonstrators have to defend the space, defend their right to march, etc. They get beat up and pushed around and antagonized into chaos and trauma.
