The asset also includes features like a dedicated Tag Editor, a custom selector for easey tag selectyion in the inspector, Tag Queries for finding really specific combinations of tags and more!

Decided to try using come custom materials for each layer. I still haven't figured out how to show a brush preview for the layers, so it's a bit hard to paint in places that are already painted

I've also created a custom RuleTile so it automatically chooses the correct piece. Took a bit of time to understand how to get it to work, though.

This is the tilemap I'm using! I just rotate each piece based on their neighbors.
Very nice separation between logic and visuals.
