One of the wonderful aspects of participating in an action like today's No Kings march and rally is being around so many beautiful people of like mind. All I felt from everyone was love, acceptance, and a sincere love of democracy and freedom for all.

I didn't take pics but the feeling of being in a group of people with no visible beginning or end was so thrilling. The opposite of online anomie, and a living counterpoint to the wary, isolated, compartmentalized world the shitheads want to make. It's simple and obvious I guess but it means a lot.

This is why you should never, ever follow some random people suggesting the march/protest split up.
I've heard plenty of stories of cop infiltrators doing this and then leading their splinter directly into a kettle.

Anyway, some info that’s kinda useful but not 100%. NYPD and cops in general will jump and grab people for stupid shit and provoke needless chaos regardless, but in terms of being able to control a mass of bodies, as long as they stick together, NYPD is pretty much useless.
