Thank you Tasmanian government. Definitely competent, definitely able to build a stadium too. The new ferry seems to be moored somewhere in the bay at Geelong: more evidence of the high levels of efficiency and competence provided for by the state.

The bit where like 1/3 of the journey time is spent doing a dogleg around the bay seems amazingly inefficient.

I was surprised to learn this was built in the 70s, I honestly thought it was probably early 2000s. Just a few years earlier when the Domain Highway was built the design quality of the junctions was far lower and they remain a bit of a shitshow to date.

Good marmalade is hard to come by! Where do you get this one? Salamanca? (The CWA shop is often good but can be hit and miss)

Oh joy, the booby trap accessible room. Great if you need the accessible features but otherwise a bit weird.

Normally I wouldn’t bother to comment if the place was anything other than great, but sometimes their aggressive demands for reviews cause bolts of cutting honesty.

Assuming portrait and picture were interchangeable I’d say ‘of’ because ‘picture in courage’ doesn’t work.

Update: merely noting what I eat in a crappy app and trying to keep to 1500cal/day seems to be working quite well so far, like surprisingly.

On my (bucket) list is the Tasman island kayak day trip. Port Arthur is worth a day trip. I don’t get the attraction of Bruny so much.

It’s definitely very much a car place, and a week is more than plenty. (One of my grumps is I’m always just in Hobart and don’t have time/car to get out of town)
