Liquid Smoke is like, 50 yrs old,..but..it's EXTREMELY finicky.
1 drop isn't enough, 2 drops tastes like a wildfire burned down a National Forest. I keep "Hickory" and "Mesquite" on hand, for God only knows why..but it'll kick a pork chop up a notch..in a pinch.
