like surely inti could secure to include all of the franchises they don't fully own rights to (bloodstained, blaster master, dragon marked for death, mighty no. 9) in CeC expansion pass (not sure if price has been disclosed) as long they were willing to pay licensing to the IP owners like in LAiX2 🤔

It cannot be a coincidence that Pokémon TCG GB was developed by Hudson Soft and came on the same from another game they developed: Robopon Sun, Star, and Moon. Which blatantly rips off Pokémon overworld spritework 🤔

While one of the best spinoff games of that era, Pokémon TCG GB has a distinct "uncanny" feel to it, almost like a knock-off more than an official product

But on the whole Inti's games are mostly free of unused content, either they scrub off most development stuff or don't put in anything that won't be used in the end
Even a spaghetti code game like MN9 has no unused models & only a couple of unused animations for actions that aren't shown (walking)

wasn't much shorter but definitively only took a single attempt and a health bar above 50% (most of the attacks rendered a joke + no contact damage)
