Obsession with art can be your down fall. Many won't understand your passion. Many will say it means nothing in monetary terms. Many will be indifferent to your works. But the fire won't die . It'll rage harder. Solution is not to look for validation. My obsession with folk art continues

Simple art to ease the mind. Best way of achieving some sense of quiet is to make art in a journal. Kawai art style makes my soul sing. Still at it as usual. #art #artjournal

Making playful art because I want quick dopamine hits from quick kawaii artworks in my journal . Work done in cheap journal just about daily so there will be an entire volume of chibi/kawai art work done with acrylic markers and gelly roll pens. #artobession

I've been hiding and playing in my journal and painting. Everything is up in flux. Storms are here. So here is Labubu-Pazuzu. Self soothing in journal and documenting the humor to remember the madness later on. #journal #art

Last rain day. Tomorrow I will plant some perennials. I know I should wait but the plants and I have been staring at each other for over a week. Side of the patio currently. Daughter's propagation has to be saved as well.

We went for the Frida exhibition this Saturday. It was a lovely exhibition but what I loved the most was the sacred hush that was around the exhibition. Even kids whispered. When we visited the Frida's home in Mexico the hush was the same. Folks love Frida. Her struggles come through. #Fridalinocut
