I was thinking about this in the context of game development but yeah this applies to every art I can think of. Ultimately it comes down to all those big and small decisions about when to add something, when to remove something, and when to stop and say it's done

It's never as good as your own imagination

For example, a game that uses genAI to add voice lines to every minor NPC, or to add character portraits where there otherwise wouldn't be, ends up being worse than just not having voice or going without the portrait.
