a lot of the worms you see online live like this. the ones who crawl up from the dirt to cry "cringe annoying" whenever anyone violates The Rules. they express their misery by projecting jealous rage onto anyone who refuses to sign the social contract (3/4)

it is so easy to internalize that judgemental gaze, to carry it with you even when no one else is around. if youre not careful you might wake up one day and realize you forgot how to let your guard down long enough to actually enjoy (or accomplish) anything (2/4)
