the allergy meds (plain ol' zyrtec) kicked in and she's been freed from the Stupid Hat. I *think* her other meds have been helping (it's been a year), but between the scabby head and chewed belly, time for another vet visit, sigh. (could be worse, has been much much worse)

mine is *terrified* of paper bags (also plastic bags, sheets/towels). I adopted her as an older cat with some behavioral/physical issues, so I can only imagine the trauma she endured

sometimes I wonder if I subconsciously adopted the cat that best matched my decor (in reality, it was mid-pandemic pet scarcity, it took 2 months of applications at 6 shelters, and she was likely only available because she had some issues)
