You may not know this, but one condition that is regularly associated with #ADHD is restless leg syndrome, which I have. It affects my sleep drastically, so my psychiatrist suggested Magnesium Glyconate, and it works great! Consult your med provider about it first, I am not a doctor! Hope it helps!

Well, my attempt to not wait a week in between posts failed almost immediately but I persist! I don't really have anything, I just finally remembered about this place again! ☺️😬

Oh how I wish my lack of action were truly laziness. But it isn't, not only do I truly want to do these things, but they don't happen for any number of reasons and then I feel like a loser because of it. It's those inadequate feelings no one told me about with my #ADHD.

Since I've finally listened to my amazing @aielcakes.bsky.social about #ADHD Bluesky, I'm excited to be here! I'm also going to try and avoid that old chestnut of posting like crazy for a week only to taper off to nothing. Follow-through is my kryptonite.

I've suspected that I may have ADHD since college, (it was not very prevalent in my town in the 80s) and was recently diagnosed. There is a whole community of help and commiseration here that I haven't taken advantage of. Shame on me, but I'll give social media another try!
