I'm a Solid Waste Director in a small, rural county and talk trash on a daily basis. My background is in environmental science and sustainability.
Boomers, stop hating on young adults that just cry/laugh when you tell them you had a house and two kids at their age. You had no student debt, a pension, mostly non-profit healthcare, and a minimum wage that made sense.
Inflation made 100k a year for a family go from upper middle class to struggling. With most of this inflation happening since the turn of the century.
