A 10% import tariff could potentially act as a disincentive for foreign equity investors, but whether they will "turn their profits and run" depends on a range of factors like increased economic uncertainty, lower return expectations etc….

Okay based on my knowledge foreign investors own a significant share of U.S. equities, with estimates generally placing the proportion at around 25-30% of the total U.S. stock market capitalization.

Either way, the numbers tell an interesting story.

A $1.3T Bitcoin market doesn't look so bubbly anymore when America's stock market has casually added $30T in four years.

Perhaps Bitcoin's role as a hedge against market extremes is about to get its biggest test yet.

Either institutional investors, sitting on massive stock gains, start looking at Bitcoin as a sensible diversification play (after all, crypto's entire $2.5T market cap is just 4% of U.S. stocks), or we get a correction that sends money flowing into alternative assets.

Here's why crypto investors should care: when the broader market gets this frothy (now at 202% of GDP, an all-time high), two things tend to happen.
