The FIFA “Peace Award” that was given to Trump is such a flagrant play on his ego, next year when they don’t give it to someone he’s going to say “they only gave it to me nobody else has done what I’ve done, not even close.” How can these people around him watch this farce and keep a straight face?

It certainly feels that way. It could also be that he knows he doesn’t have any more elections to win, so it doesn’t matter how much his followers start to hate him.

He doesn’t care about the GOP post-Trump. He’ll happily burn that party to the ground on his way out.

Doesn’t the fact that Trump can no longer feel the populist pulse (“affordability hoax,” ‘Epstein hoax,” war crime spree, pardon spree) show that his mind is truly and irrevocably shot?
