Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) was an issue raised at the meeting and I have since spoken to First Choice Homes Oldham who have confirmed that they will be attending the @manccop.bsky.social surgery’s at Neon on Holt Street this Thursday at 10, a member of my team will be there too.

We will never forget the sacrifice and service of those who defended our country and fought for our freedom. I also remember those who have served and sacrificed from Oldham and Saddleworth and pay tribute to them.

There were some agreed positive actions taken away from today's meeting that will hopefully lead to a compliant and sensitive development of the site that recognises St Paul’s historical and archaeological significance.

I also attended the White Poppy Peace vigil in Uppermill, which was set up by the families and friends of those who were lost in World War 1. Their message is firstly to remember all victims of war including civilians but also a commitment to peace and non-violent means to resolve conflict.

With the pending Budget, I also met with several child poverty charities and academics to consider the latest evidence on child poverty and it's effects.

I was very moved by the exhibition in Parliament this week dedicated to Remembrance Day, Victory in Europe and Victory over Japan.

I was also at the launch of the #DESJusticeUK campaign, again very grateful to Jessica Toale for her work on this.

Since then a range of serious side effects have been identified including an increased risk of cancer and fertility issues.
Importantly this also appears to affect subsequent generations.
