As I have said before, many Americans don’t understand the vast differences between socialism and communism. How can we hope they will understand the difference between democratic socialism (Italy, Switzerland…) and state sponsored socialism (Russia)?

In 2022, according to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the wealthiest 1% own almost half the value of stocks and the bottom 50% own about 1% of stocks.
I’m pretty sure it’s gotten far worse since then.
