It’s Toxic Avenger weekend, we do love the monster hero ! Hopefully he “mops up” the competition, for once it’s a toxic individual we can root for, fun fact the original movie was the one vhs the local video store said my parents couldn’t let me watch. Didn’t work 🙂

Would recommend checking out Hard Luck Canyon in Alberta if you are close by, definitely a “shorter” hike, there are stairs, downside the bathroom, pungent as anything, I find, for me, a bit of nature gives a mental boost, even small little patches, hope you have some near you

A few from Regina, where I went over (wait for it) “the longest bridge over the shortest body of water” 🤯 interesting vibe in this town, got to meet an old colleague which was excellent

Picked up a cool comic on my Saskatchewan adventures, signed by the creator @lancegoiter.bsky.social , it’s an anthology that is part slice of life part surreal humour, would recommend you get yourself one, it’s called shitty stories, gotta support the indies, cool art style too

Tonight’s movie: Rewatched “Dream Scenario” which was a much needed laugh to end the week, Nicholas Cage fight against the inevitability of the world crushing his dreams, was just the thing to ease into the weekend
