I could be wrong, in fact I probably am...but it kind of seems like the new administration is going through their project 2025 play book as quickly as it can...only to find out the plans won't work and get 30 days to figure out how it could work...which won't happen because this is 8 years of prep?

Until the left figures out that one-upsmanship and gatekeeping aren't unifying strategies, this is where we are stuck.

I seem to be able to bring out the best and the worst in people at about an equal rate. For those of you who've been around and stuck it out with me, know you're appreciated and I'm aware of how challenging i can be to deal with. I hope I've contributed to you positively in some way.

I'm still gunshy about posting most political thoughts after a few years of suppressing myself on Facebook due to the negative energy that would inevitably follow and the effect it had on my mental health. This week I signed up for bluesky and a therapist. So...I'll get that swing back soon.

I was assigned to listen to the king crimson album "islands" to listen to and give an opinion on in a meeting with my fellow west coast music directors.

My big take away? I am not smart enough to understand this record.
