Yes! Thank you for expressing this so eloquently; I’ve faced challenges with this too! Comparing qualitative research to the “standards” of quantitative studies (especially sample sizes) reveals a massive misunderstanding of the value of capturing lived experience!

Qualitative research isn't a consolation prize for when we can't get 'real' numbers. It's a different way of knowing; one that captures complexity, context, and meaning that statistics alone cannot provide.
