For that case of course- was mostly speaking in jest to Jacob’s reply. I don’t imagine _another_ hosting spot to pop up. 2 already feels like a lot! I do agree with Jacob’s thoughts about the work Conda-Forge accomplishes that is not strictly technical-packaging-tools.

I guess in that world pip install openmp becomes a thing? and you’d get libgomp.so or libomp.dyib depending on Linux or macOS and then some C extension that links to it can drop using auditwheel/delocate and declare openmp a dependency?
