The idea that Republicans are just going to magically come up with some plan that overcomes the inherent tradeoffs in the health market is childlike thinking.

There also just aren't that many different approaches you can take with healthcare. You can go state funded and provided (UK), all private (sort of the US before ACA, except for Medicare/Medicaid/VA/CHIP), state funded / private provision (Canada) or some sort of managed marketplace (ACA).
