If this is the start of a new week, no thanks! Because I am dumb and forgot the burner was hot, I set down the tray of chips and cheese and meat I was about to bake on top of it so that when I picked it up barehanded bc dumb, I then threw a bunch of the nachos on the floor because the pan was HOT.

Look, I know there are so many shit show, serious, high level problems right now but can I just express some annoyance that I can’t find crockpot liners at Aldi anymore.

Parking on campus for my night class, I realize I left my laptop at home. Cannot get the tech in the classroom to work so we had to migrate across the hall for a computer that worked. Thankfully, I made slides in Google docs.

My weekends are not long enough. #sundayscaries

Highly recommend combing your email the week of you birthday. I searched “birthday” and have gotten so many free things! I guess 47 is finding joy where you can.

This has been an exhausting day.

I have been doing a lot of reading for course prep and research. My outside reading is feeling slow and sporadic.

My dog is really living his best life while I course prep.

In the deep end of syllabus writing and calendar construction for classes that start Monday and I really struggle with all the policy and language that I have to add.

Course planning is hard work.

Last night when I was in my storage closet (located in a different part of my complex) Beau and I kept hearing a coyote. Each time we went out afterwards, Beau was skittish and growling. Then I hear something rustling in the woods. I do NOT want to face off with a coyote, esp. at 3 AM.

Looking forward to seeing this face tonight.
