I am quite genuinely curious.

I use and build on LLMs professionally and there are legitimate enterprise use cases where probabilistic outputs make sense.

This just doesn't feel like one of them.

Seriously, what percentage of users do you believe will ever see that guidance?

All these companies just vastly overinvested in LLMs and are trying to justify it any way they can.

That's a lot of words to not answer the question tbh.

And expecting the lay user to understand the difference is pure folly.

Not everything needs AI.

Excel/Google Sheets still drives huge fractions of workflows in large organizations, including things that are mission critical.

Just seems like a square peg/round hole.

Ok....but what I am reading is that I also can't trust any of the summaries or other artifacts produced from these free form texts.

So what's the actual point?

I am genuinely curious what situations *are* appropriate.

Math and determinism are pretty strongly coupled.

How about he stops worrying about internecine fights and starts fighting with the GOP?

The fact that Newsome is the only one who understands that parody/satire are the best way to fight authority is an indictment of the entire Democratic party leadership.

Why are Jeffries and Schumer still there?
August 15, 2025 at 4:28 PM
I mean, why would they?

The Democrats have refused to believe the GOP is acting in bad faith for 20 years now and have never once meaningfully responded.

Yes, that's the point.

If they continue to forever be dependent on the NBA, they are effectively minor league players and should be paid as such.
July 20, 2025 at 4:00 PM
It's not barely profitable.

It loses ~$40 million a year currently, and that's with the NBA massively subsidizing it.

Fair pay for 144 players would be the players owing the league $277k each.

Just absolutely delusional.

He resigned, wasn't terminated, which is usually what triggers a golden parachute.

He was probably given a choice of resignation or firing for gross negligence, and that particular cause almost always negates any payout.

Could be wrong, no inside info, but seen this too many times.

Lol oh noez "disinformation"

And people like you are why people hate BlueSky
July 18, 2025 at 4:07 PM
The fact you have not obstructed every single nomination with all you have is why people hate you.

That handball and the phantom foul that led to Mexico's second goal....

US coaching was awful, and Mexico played better overall, but the US should have won the game.

That handball interpretation is exactly the sort of idiocy that turns off Americans from soccer.
