Because there was a gap in the availability of official data between the end of the weekly federal reporting and when the new dashboard was announced as the source of covid cases.

QLD Hospitalised, ICU and Deaths data based on recent CHO Press conference; this is not normally provided.

SA In-Hospital figure for last week was revised up from 33 > 109.

The 2-week gap in weekly case data is between the end of weekly reporting and the new case dashboard.

Note: 4 prior deaths were removed this week. 3 of these occurred within this week's reporting period, and that number reflects these. Prior weeks were not adjusted. With 25 new deaths, total deaths increased by 21.

This dataset has now been updated with additional data:

The dataset is an excel workbook and includes the following sheets:

• Cumulative cases by year and state

📙Monthly
• Cases by month and state
• Cumulative cases by month and state

Yearly and Monthly data may be updated retrospectively.

Daily data is "as at" a particular date and while it will include retrospective changes in totals, previous entries will not be updated.

"Daily cases" is calculated as the change in total cases on that date.
