I couldn’t wait to get to NYC from OH at 17 and I never looked back. I don’t remember being homesick at all. Letting my kids go seems harder. At least my oldest at home is going to school in the city so that helps. She’s so ready to move out. If only NYC weren’t so cost prohibitive for students.

It never changes. Just dropped my youngest at college and she didn’t want to stay. 😭
