En 2024, les batteries ont dépassé la capacité du pompage hydraulique comme filière de stockage en Chine, soit 135 GW. Les batteries ne représentaient pourtant pas grand chose en 2021. On peut se demander quelle sera la capacité à la fin de 2025.

Like in any jurisdiction, Alberta does good and bad things. This is something Alberta is doing well, on left side. The last X should be a starting policy to avoid a chaotic market and clients being abused with the wrong advice.

This chart by Michael Liebreich and team shows how much it would cost on average to decarbonize increasing shares of the US power grid. What is striking is that 90% of the power grid could be decarbonized at less than $125/tCO2. A relatively reasonable decarbonization cost.
