I like anime and games. I sometimes write and draw. You should play Xenoblade. I have many OCs. Leftist. He/him. Profile pic by @ruilized.bsky.social

The only thing that saddens me is the reputation this game has forcing everyone to express their love for this game defensively. "Despite it's flaws". "I acknowledge the problems." Fuck that bullshit. I love this game because it's fucking great.

I'm currently playing Disgaea 4. And this is my current backlog. My plan was to beat this by the end of the year, but that's not looking likely. So I want to at least beat all these before Trails Beyond the Horizon comes out. I think I have a chance at that.

Same vibe as "this thing has so much charm". A big nothing statement.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

I was in the mood for another murder mystery, so I decided to play this really unique game about a ghost possessing objects to prevent murders. It's a unique concept, that turns what I thought would be very story focused into a puzzle game.

It was a decently fun game, but not the most exciting or memorable. And at times it was frustrating. Which makes it hard for me to call this a must play. You probably will like it if you like Ace Attorney, which has the same creator. A decent game overall.

I will say that the music was pretty good, and the visuals were excellent. I can't believe this was originally a DS game. The art style is gorgeous and so much care went into the level design and animation. Another great example of what great art direction can do with limited graphical capabilities.

The story isn't as mind-blowing as others I've played, and the story overall isn't thematically deep at all. It feels that the unique puzzle solving and a few key surprises is what this game has to offer. But beyond that, there isn't much I can think of that makes this a must play.

The story involves trying to find out the reason for your own death and understanding who you are, which gets you tangled up in a web of mysteries much greater than they appear. That being said, as someone who's played a bunch of murder mystery stories, I'm not as easily impressed.

It's a type of puzzle solving I've never heard of before, and it was mostly satisfying to solve them. Also a few puzzles have ridiculous leaps in logic and really obtuse answers with hints that feel like they hinder more than help with misleading advice.

You go into the past, 4 minutes before someone's death to prevent it. It involves using your ghost powers to go from object to nearby object to do neat little tricks that move things around the stage to prevent a murder, or for other tasks like guiding someone without getting caught.

I can't remember who you've drawn. Have you drawn Emma?
