Well I made it to Bradford a few too many minutes late to be able to make my connection between Interchange and Forster Square, so taking this to Leeds instead
Unfortunately means arriving in Newcastle 2.5 hours later...

Had intended to try and get a service to Lancaster with a 5 minute connection at Manchester Piccadilly. Unfortunately my inbound train was over 5 minutes late, so I missed it, but after a swift walk to Manchester Victoria, I'm headed to @emtrak.bsky.social 's favourite place; Bradford!

Got to Fort William (by car from Edinburgh😔), it is stunning up here! Not going to be here for long, unfortunately, but will absolutely be coming back here soon!

Today is a start from Cardiff, and starting on a Megabus M5 service, which goes all the way to *checks notes* Canterbury?
I’m only taking this to Bristol, but the M5 all the way from Swansea to Kent sounds fun

Oops forgot to finish this yesterday, my day ended with a 231 to Penarth and back, 231s are very nice trains (as FLIRTs always are), but felt a bit weird since I’m used to 755s (feels similar but not quite the same)

At Ashchurch, I immediately got on a train, returning towards Gloucester, and am now on a GWR service taking me to Cardiff

I then walked to Cam & Dursley Station, which was about 40 minute walk, I think it would’ve been a nice walk if it weren’t 26°C, but it was just uncomfortable, from Cam & Dursley, I caught a train to Ashchurch for Tewkesbury

I took that 65 to Cambridge, Gloucestershire, turns out this is pronounced differently to the one in Cambridgeshire (cam-bridge rather than came-bridge), its just a small village, there doesn’t seem to be much there, though the welcome signs in the village are quite nice!

Into Cheltenham, again on a late arrival, this time, 15 late with a 15 minute connection, I’d given up on making the connection, so didn’t rush to get on, but the 94X was also late, so I was able to make it on

Made it to Bedford, now onto an X5, to Oxford. Stagecoach East have integrated ticketing between the 905 and X5, so this journey from Cambridge to Oxford has only cost me £2
