The thing that's tricky about the Indiana whip count is that GOP leaders are hoping that some of the senators who signaled 'no' mid-November can be flipped — so it seems helpful to identify those senators who are reasserting no just over the last week.

Whether Texas can use the new map the GOP drew, which is expected to flip something like five seats to Republicans, or if it has to stick with the 2021 map. It’d be a surprise for SCOTUS to require the latter, but certainly worth seeing how it plays out. bsky.app/profile/sous...

My law firm is currently litigating 11 redistricting cases in 10 states. We are also litigating an additional 54 voting and election cases in 27 states.

This is as many cases as we typically handle going into the final months of the election. 2026 will almost certain be a record breaking year.
