The freeze on federal USDA grants — money already promised — is causing pain & uncertainty among America’s farmers.
"Emmet Fisher, who runs a small dairy farm in Hager City, said during the town hall that he was struggling with the freeze that’s been put on federal spending, which affected grants he was set to receive through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)."

If you're trying to figure out what to do right now, my advice is to just pick a thing that you think might be useful in some way, however small, and do it. Doing a thing leads you to doing another, bigger thing, and prepares you for that next thing.

This doesn’t look good.
Vladimir Putin's hypersonic missile carried a simple message to the West over Ukraine: back off, and if you don't, Russia reserves the right to hit U.S. and British military facilities.

Russia fired a new hypersonic missile at Ukraine on Thursday in what Putin said was a direct response to Ukrainian strikes using Western missiles.

I flew too close to the sun today. Wanted to see how thin I could turn this bowl, and learned a sad lesson about how much weaker the pith is in a piece of natural wood. Very happy with the shape and how thin I was able to turn it, though! #woodsky

Yes!! So glad there's a smart space to have thoughtful conversations again with lots of people I know & missed -- and others I hadn't known existed, but are stunningly brilliant.
It’s genuinely stunning just how much the post-Twitter landscape has changed in the last two weeks. Y’all it was a long, lonely time in the wilderness. So glad to see so many of you again.
