The Kraken have been released to start the third period, but we will have one fewer Kraken than usual because at the end of the 2nd, there were TOO many of them on the ice. So the #SeaKraken have to kill a penalty to start the final frame.

The #SeaKraken trail by 1 after two periods. Not a good second period at all after a strong first. Seems like the Kraken lost their focus, and the Jets are too good a team to keep giving chances like that.

Stop me if you've heard this before: Seattle doesn't kill the penalty. Puck took a weird bounce, maybe off Ryan Lindgren's stick, but it's in the net all the same and Jets have the lead.

Gustav Nyquist trips Matty Beniers and the #SeaKraken will enjoy their second power play of the game. This is Nyquist's first actual penalty, but he served the previous Jets penalty committed by goalie Connor Hellebuyck, so it's not a completely foreign space for him.
