Boston, Golden State, Houston, Oklahoma City, Denver, San Antonio… they shouldn't be penalized for drafting good players or committing financially to them.
Jaylen Brown, Chet Holmgren, Victor Wembanyama, Anthony Edwards… they shouldn't be penalized for wanting to stay and earn what they are worth.

I don't know what you (or Howard) think, but I just don't think Supermax players should count against the cap.

Great piece. Agree with all of those. Golden State, especially, as a “team of sixth women.” They clearly knew what they wanted to do when picking WNBA vets in the expansion draft.
