We analyze the show’s ideological collapse between the left & the far right as we raise the question: when output of the nation’s largest media empire labels young people engaged in very real social movement struggles as terrorists, what possibilities fall away from our political imagination?

Thinking about the different forms of violence that the education system, as part of a larger sociopolitical ecosystem, inflicts on students who dare to exist, think, speak out, and/or move outside of its edicts and values, no matter how hypocritical those edicts and values are.
