On June 16, EU ministers discuss Europe’s energy security. More #LNG means locking us into climate chaos & insecurity. #TrumpGas, #PutinGas, or any gas = harm to health, planet & frontline communities. It’s time for a just transition—no to fossil fuel traps. #PhaseOutGas

Why humming? Because unlike at previous @UNFCCC #climate conferences, UN security would not allow people to shout, chant, or sing outside the plenary. So people chose to hum the rhythm of the protest chants they would have used.

The ‘Gas Exporting Countries Forum’ pavilion at #COP29 is basically the same as having a “cigarette exporting countries club” stand at a conference on lung cancer.
And their posters are just as dishonest as you’d expect.

This is remarkably, bizarrely wrong. Twitter-prominent right-wing conveyancing lawyer takes a break from helping people sell houses to redefine New Zealand's constitutional law.

With all respect to @MichaelGerrard, I don't think it's quite right to say only misleading advertising cases have "broken through".
The Shell case is the clearest example, but there've also been several smaller wins on permitting etc.
Perhaps he's referring to damages claims?

And, going from the American Petroleum Institute's response here, Big Oil doesn't like being sued very much. Which feels like a great reason to sue them more.
Importantly, Meyers alleges that these lawsuits are a "coordinated campaign" – but provides no evidence of coordination.
