I mean - it was entirely selfish, but no problem!

I remember pledging for a possible reprint on...Unbound, maybe? Always feels unfair that, having done the hard part and written it, the economics of actually publishing are so difficult.

Count me in if there's any development!

"Well, we say returned, one's a clone of the original and two are from an alternate timeline, but anyway..."

“Let’s say you want to leave a mark, or a legacy… most people publish a book, not because they want to make a living from that. It’s their hobby."

Oh startups, never change.

It's not vanity publishing; it's a platform which allows hobbyists to pay to publish a book, for their legacy.

If we're not calling it Even Older Kent Road, we're missing a trick.

Ah, yeah, could have been that!

Great worldbuilding, for the early 90s...I felt like Viper really was a rival, Natasha a...friend..., Slater that odd guy you know who you get on with but occasionally clubs you in the head.

The rest of RR never did it for me either.

Road Rash was amazing - loved the concept and the soundtrack, could have done with later races being different courses rather than just multiple laps, but overall loved it.

I'm convinced that in one race I accidentally punched Natasha and got a post-race "WTF I thought we were friends?!" scene.

Ah, got it!

Yes, could definitely see that coming back, especially if Gabe looks good against the Final Boss of Britwres in December...

Ah, no, sorry - I thought you were talking about the Stevenage show (I'd just read your review of it) and I meant Oku/GABE (not Gale).

I thought the whole ending sequence of Oku/Gale felt a bit off, even accepting that a crucifix is always a bit "out of nowhere".

That movie was based on the "Civil War" storyline in the comics which gave a much better (and more nuanced) look at the idea of superhero registration. It lasted six months and took over every major comic in Marvel (and many minor ones too). Pretty decent delve, and far from the only example.

Plus, for every two confederate statues you could make three Taz statues.

Thought it was really good - my (young teen) kids thought they'd be all out for whoever won out of Robbie and Dorada, but Leon won them over.

The Oku/Gale ending felt a bit off to me, like they had to cut short almost?

Tag teams without a team name shouldn't be eligible for title shots.

Tag teams with separate entrances shouldn't be eligible to win matches.

The very same. And has been WWC Universal Champion twice since Smackdown, I reckon.

All of this, plus - he's the legit son of Puerto Rico wrestling legend/exclusive promoter Carlos Colon.

For me that's why he never reached the heights in WWE that he could have - he knew he could always go back to PR and immediately be a top act.

Even managed to make Cross Rhodes look like a legit move, the man's a genius.

Given how plugged in Vince is to pop culture, I'm assuming this was last week some time?

The "in her new book she talks about being fat like it's evil!!" discourse this week has been cracking me up.

Guessing some people skipped some parts of their Favourite Books like, for example, every passage involving the Dursleys or Slughorn.
