You’re offered so much, but you’re frightened to take it.

Music (punk, garage, new wave, jazz, indie, post-punk, glam, classical, whatever), Mets/Jets/Rangers, cats, beer, higher ed, travel, art, etc. Pro democracy, pro justice. Jersey since birth.
Say what you will about Malcolm, but he knew how to attract attention.

The more f’d up the world gets, the less f’d up they look. Much less shock value than they used to have, there’s better clickbait now.

No, then you have to conduct experiments and gather data to prove it’s wrong. Lacking that, you’re just spewing bullshit.

I was at a 4-team hurling match at my baseball team’s stadium in Queens in 2019, bhí sé Luimneach, Wexford, Kilkenny agus Tipperary. 2 would have an abbreviated match, then the other 2, then the winners of those.

Pistols were banned from the airwaves and from playing in many venues and they still became (briefly) the biggest band in the UK. And that’s not even counting their influence.

Being that a BBC ban completely silenced The Sex Pistols, they tried it again for FGTH 🤣

My spelling is incorrect, but that’s what Jersey Italians call gavonne.

I think it was the first game I ever followed on my phone.

I’d jump on it before the other team has time to change their mind. I’m tired of waiting for him to get it together; he ties his shoelace too tight and he’s out a month.

Long before the stupid extra inning ghost runner rule, Mets played a 20 inning game, Pelfrey pitched the 20th and got either the save or the win (I forget if the Mets were home or away).

Only time I’ve ever been to Fenway, he was the opposing pitcher, I think for the Twins.

Boy, would I love to see his college transcript, especially if he had to take any courses on macroeconomics or international finance policy.

Yes, I remember the trade (Rick Aguilera being the primary piece going out), and until RA Dickey, Viola
had been the last Met pitcher to win 20 games.
