I wasn’t born vegan, I learned it. The day I met a cow who leaned her head into my chest like a dog, it got a lot harder to pretend she was just a product.

Influencers get a lot of attention by calling vegans weak, soyboys etc. But a vegan man just won the Natural World's Strongest Man, and a vegan woman just won the European Strongman Games.

If vegans were actually protein deficient, hospitals would be full of us. They’re not.

I asked a Christian vicar what he thinks about veganism, Jesus and Christianity. This interview will surprise you!

Most traditions are shaped by what was available, not what was ethical.

Changing what’s on our plates isn’t losing our culture, it’s evolving it for the better.

We can prevent so much violence to animals simply by switching to animal-free food.

Food is deeply personal.

Choosing animal-free meals isn’t rejecting traditions; it’s evolving traditions to include respect for animals.

It’s a way to celebrate culture while making sure we stand by our values - opposing violence and protecting the weak.

Pigs have dreams, just like us. They experience joy, curiosity, and even sadness.

Recognising their emotional lives challenges us to rethink how we see them, it's why I choose to eat an animal-free diet.

Dogs and pigs both wag their tails when happy, but only one is considered a companion.

The animals we love aren’t so different from the animals we eat, no matter what society has taught us.

It's never too late to change, and eating animal-free has never been as easy as it is today.

As a vegan, I'm grateful that most people I meet are against animal cruelty.

It gives me hope for a future where we no longer rely on violating, mutilating and killing animals for our lifestyles.

Please help make this future a reality by making more animal friendly choices.

Most people already eat animal-free food without realising it - peanut butter sandwiches, pasta with marinara sauce, or a hearty vegetable soup.

Eating animal-free doesn’t mean a complete life changing overhaul, it’s often just about building on meals you already enjoy.

Pigs can solve puzzles, chickens can count, and cows recognise faces.

They’re not "mindless dumb animals", they’re complex, feeling and intelligent.

It’s strange how much we underestimate them, because we don’t take the time to see who they really are.
December 8, 2024 at 8:00 AM
Cows aren’t the mindless animals people assume they are. They form friendships, remember faces, and even hold grudges.

It’s strange how little we’re taught about them. Maybe because if we saw them for who they are, we’d stop eating them.

Ever wondered what happens to male chicks in the egg industry?

They’re killed as soon as they’re born, ground up alive or suffocated, because they don’t lay eggs and aren’t profitable.

Billions of them, every year. All for something we don’t even need in our diets.
December 5, 2024 at 4:00 PM
"It’s tradition" is why many people say they eat animals.

We used to have traditions involving slavery and child labour. Just because something’s been done for a long time doesn’t make it right, eating an animal-free diet is the best thing you can do to make the world a better place for animals.
December 5, 2024 at 8:00 AM
We’re told to believe that animals don’t mind being killed, but watch them try to escape a slaughterhouse, listen to their cries, and it’s clear they want to live.

Switching to an animal-free diet isn’t about being perfect, it’s recognising that their lives matter too.

If a man stands up for dogs and cats, he's a hero. But if he stands up for cows and pigs, he's "soft", " a pussy", "not a real man". Why?

All these animals just want to live. It’s strange how much the label we give an animal - 'pet' or 'food' - changes how we see them and people who protect them.

Cows make milk for their calves, but in the dairy industry, calves are taken away so we can have it instead.

Cows have a strong maternal instinct, they cry for days when they lose their calves. Imagine being separated from your child, over and over, just for something we like the taste of.

I used to eat eggs and cheese every single day as a vegetarian, but I couldn’t ignore the reality.

Dairy cows and egg-laying hens are bred into captivity, mutilated and sent to the same slaughterhouses as animals in the meat industry.

Once I faced that, it didn’t feel right to keep supporting it.
December 3, 2024 at 8:00 AM
Growing up, I was taught that farm animals were just as important as our pets.

It stuck with me, even though people treated cows and pigs so differently from dogs and cats. Most aren’t taught to see that connection, but once you do, it’s hard to ignore. They all deserve the same respect and care.

I used to think leather and wool were just by-products, and didn’t harm animals.

But I found out those industries profit from animals just as much as meat does. Leather comes from the same slaughterhouses, and wool? Sheep aren’t just shaved, their lives also end in the slaughterhouse.
December 2, 2024 at 8:00 AM
Eggs seem harmless, but the industry is brutal.

Most male chicks are killed after hatching because they aren’t profitable. Hens are kept in tiny spaces, laying more eggs than their bodies can handle. They’re killed when their production slows down.

Do we really need eggs? I say absolutely not.

I thought veganism was extreme until I learned what happens to animals.

Artificial insemination, confinement, and slaughter aren’t exactly mild practices. Wanting to avoid that isn’t extreme, it’s actually the most normal thing in the world once you see it clearly.

Most people love dogs and cats, but there's a problem.

Shelters are overflowing with animals who need homes, but people keep breeding them. Many purebreds suffer from health issues because they’re bred for appearance, not well-being.

Adopting instead of buying saves lives and avoids these issues.
