Sign of the times for decades in the USA, horrific, that's it, and look at the petty squabble below, as if it only happened on a TV soap.

Everyone needs to fight at least a little as passionately.

This kind of shameful erasure went on at Arlington at the beginning of the current regime. No-one in the UK believed it when I first told them.

Found out something extraordinary as a result of putting this up. Seems very possible that he was the illegitimate son of the Tory MP and cricketer who owned the house where George's mother was maid. Might account for GN joining the Dragoon Guards. davidnice.blogspot.com/2015/11/more...
More on Captain George
Exactly a year ago, on Armistice Day 2014, I shared what I'd only recently found out about my paternal grandfather, Captain George Nice...

Grand! I must go. The mythological frescoes in the much more intimate Villa Valmarana ai Nani outside Vicenza are lovely. And the hunting lodge has playful works by delightful son Giandomenico.

Yes, yet another fight is on for the BBC, after the strange farrago which actually got rid of someone who needed to go, but not for the right reasons, while real Machiavelli Robbie Gibb remains. @eddavey.libdems.org.uk has been doing sterling work on this.

Didn't ask to be born who he was, lost his mother at a very young age, has had quite a bit of life experience. Leave off the rest for today. I'm a republican, but I cut some of the royals some slack.

Oh come on, no whataboutism now. Return to it tomorrow by all means. I'd say, wear the white rose too. Which is not in conflict.

Was the world's biggest polluter too, of course. The rowing back is essential. The problem with China is that everyone is under surveillance 24/7. That warps people.

Community really is beginning to happen. Way, way more needed.

Look at BBC game shows like Bakeoff, that's what you see. Most people live this way. Just how many are triggered by unconcealed racism remains to be seen. But we had Brexit, and we could well have a Reform government if a lot of work isn't done right now. Sadly Labour has been part of the problem.
